Antique English chiffoniers and side cabinets from the 18th & early 19th century Georgian and Regency periods

A fine quality early 19th Century Regency period rosewood Chiffonier probably by ‘Gillows of Lancaster’ having brass gallery, mirrored backed upper part supported on floral cast columns. The cabinet having Pyrénées Portor Marble top above 2 grille doors flanked by scrolled reeded columns (enclosing shelves and drawers) raised on reeded bun feet.

An early 19th Century figured mahogany Breakfront Chiffonier ebony strung throughout having three panelled drawers above similarly panelled cupboards flanked by ‘Egyptian’ caryatid columns. The bookcase, with central open shelves raised on moulded plinth base.

An unusually shallow George lll period Mahogany Bow Cabinet having Satinwood crossbanded top above three ebony line inlaid satinwood framed doors (left hand door enclosing fitted drawers) supported on splay bracket feet with shaped apron.

A fine early 19th Century Regency period Satinwood Breakfront Chiffonier, having ebony strung crossbanded top above 3 frieze drawers and central brass grille silk pleated door, flanked by two further panelled doors. The piece with ebonised mouldings and ‘diamond’ panelling, raised on turned tapering ebonised feet.

A fine pair of early 19th Century Regency period figured mahogany breakfront/bowfront Chiffoniers with very slight differences, having 'mitre veneered' doors with brass eliptical grilles and silk pleated panels, flanked by carved and spiral twist columns, supported on short ring turned feet.

A Fine late 18th Century Hepplewhite period harewood Chiffonier Cabinet,after designs by Gillows of Lancaster, satinwood, tulipwood, boxwood and ebony crossbanded and inlaid throughout having brass galleried upper part fitted with pleated and panelled cupboard doors. The Cabinet having panelled sides and fitted drawer above concave pleated grille doors below with shaped apron, supported on splayed bracket feet.
